Adventure Package Rates
American Plan Rate 2008
These are weekly rates, calculated Sunday to Saturday. Ranch
check-in starts at 4 P.M. on Sunday, and Ranch check-out
is by 2 P.M. on Saturday.
The Powderhorn Ranch proudly accepts VISA, American
Express, Discover, Travelers checks, personal
checks, and cash.
Your payment includes;
Individual, carpeted log cabin with private bath (each
guest cabin has an inviting front porch, refrigerator and
coffee maker)
Daily house cleaner service
Excellent meals, and…
Horseback riding
Fly fishing within steps of your cabin
Free Fly-fishing clinic
Free group horseback riding instruction
Jeep tours, Vehicle trips, and Hiking tours
Square dancing
Western entertainment
Heated swimming pool
Jacuzzi
Raft trip on the Taylor River or the Gunnison River
Possible additional Expenses:
There are no hidden charges for a Powderhorn Ranch
vacation.
If you choose;

Airport
pick up and drop off – it will
cost $20 per person, each way from
Gunnison Airport.

Private
horse riding lessons – it will cost
$65 per person, per hour of private arena or
trail instruction.

Private
fly fishing adventure – it will cost
from $65 to $165 per day per person depending
on the trip.

Golfing – we
can arrange golfing in Gunnison or Crested
Butte for an additional nominal fee plus
transportation.

Specialized
adventures (Hot Air ballooning, hunting, private
rides, etc.) are offered at additional cost..

Gratuities
are accepted at the Ranch – we do not add gratuities
to your bill. Most guests add a Staff gratuity at the
end of their stay. Shelly and I split all gratuities
received equally between the Staff members.

Memorial Weekend Special is May 22-27, 2008 (Thu-Tu)
$850/adult (13 and over) and $650/child (age 6-12)
3 night packages in June (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)

BOGO weeks are back: June 29-July 5 or July 20-26
Adult (age 13 and over) child age 6-12 is free.

vary based on the time of the season and number of people
in the group/family.

July Rodeo Week
Description:
Cattlemans 108th annual rodeo in Gunnison! Come and
see the cowboys rope, the barrel racing and the Western
Colorado way of life.
Gourmet
Week 2008
Enjoy our adults only week along with Gourmet meals
prepared by guest chefs from around the country. Along
with the ranch activities, you enjoy outstanding food
and entertainment. Sept 7-13 -
5 night adult only Sept special: $850/adult (Sun-Fri) Sept 14-19.
Remember - The Powderhorn Guest Ranch offers a 5-25%
discount to those guests who choose an early-season
or late-season week booking. No other Ranch in
Colorado can beat these deals!
We also have last minute traveler bargains. If we have
an opening, and you have to book short notice – you
may earn up to 25% off our normal rates.
Occasional Babysitting:
Advance arrangements are necessary to provide for paid
baby-sitting during Ranch events. We may require a nanny
or Au pair at the normal adult rate for very young children
or infants. Children under two are free.
Specialty Weeks:
The Powderhorn Guest Ranch is also proud to sponsor
Specialty Weeks, Family Reunions and Corporate Retreat
Adventures.
We host Adults Only weeks, Weddings, Honeymoons, and
Special Seminars during the season, and be sure to ask

Deposits:
 A deposit of 25% of your total Adventure Package rate
is due in advance to secure your reservation. If you
prepay your vacation in full by March 1st, you earn
you a 5% discount.
If a reservation is canceled or shortened without a
60 day advanced warning - the entire cost of
your reservation / vacation Adventure Package
is payable in full. Your deposit minus a 10%
handling fee may be refunded if 60 days notice
is given prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Discounts:
 No combination of discounts offered may exceed a total
of 15% in Adventure Package discounts. Remember to mention
you organization affiliation when you book – we may offer
a discount of 5-15% based on your membership.
Do you belong to a club or organization?
We offer Adventure Package discounts to clubs
and organizations that book the Ranch for an
entire week. Would you like your club or organization
to qualify for Adventure Package discounts?

We also offer rates for stays of less than 1 week.
